Week 29 Heatwave continues

Week beginning 13th July

Not a lot to report this week. It is so hot, we are doing only what is necessary. Haircuts, trips to the supermarket, bakery, etc. We contemplated buying a small portable swimming pool for 269€, but it seems unnecessary. We are away for most of August, and surely this weather can't keep up!!!!!

Turns out it can. We have moved back upstairs to sleep as everyone may get a better nights sleep that way. They have these massive mossie coils (lavender scented) here, so they are keeping the biting bugs out of the rooms for 12-13 hours!

I did some gardening because I had to, I was dripping with sweat by the end of it.

And I cracked and bought a swimming pool! Gaitano is coming next Tuesday to help me build it. Phoebe and I struggled as a team. So it is lying on the back garden until then. A new form of torture!

I have finished a few crafty projects due to the heat, so that is a bonus.
