The week of January 21st 2015 - Boxes and Claude
Our container arrived! No more eating meals in shifts because we only had two settings of cutlery.
The pace of the Italian crew is much more relaxed than the Australian team, labour is cheaper here.
The next day, after some difficulty, we finally got Claude into the country with help from Paula Priori. He arrived a bit smelly, and slightly jet lagged. We bathed his back end, then let him loose in the garden. He loves chasing the ball all the way to the back of the property.
We drove north past Lecco for a break from bubble wrap. The lake is beautiful, but the wind chill factor is extreme!
We had panini at an outdoor cafe with Claude beside us. I am not ready to take him into a restaurant yet, though it is a common sight to see a dog under a table.
